Registration for Travel Teams (2018/2019)
Register ONLY if you made the team after trying out and the coach has instructed you to register.

If you are a U9 player or older (birth year 2010 or earlier) and did not tryout or make a travel team, we offer intramural travel teams as well.  Please check the Intramural Travel page of our website under the "Programs" tab of our website or click HERE to learn how to register for these teams.

**PLEASE NOTE: Teams playing in LIJSL and NY Club will register differently.  YOU MUST know which league your team is playing in--consult with your coach or see below.  If you have any questions, please contact Joe Stango at jstang17@gmail.com.

NY Club Registration:
You will register on this website.

  • Create an account or login to your existing account by clicking "Register" or "Login" on the top right hand corner of the website.
  • For new accounts, you will need to add your child as a participant.  Please read the screen carefully.
  • Please upload a picture for your child(ren) if you have not done so already.  This will be used for their player pass, so please make sure it is a clear head shot.
  • You MUST upload their birth certificate if you have not already done so.
  • Once this is done and you are on your account homepage, you will see a "programs available" button to the right of their name.  Click this button.  You will then see which age groups your son/daughter is eligible to play in.  Please consult the list below to see which age group your son's/daughter's team is playing in.  You will register for that age division in the Travel Division.
  • Follow on screen instructions to complete registration and payment.  We accept Mastercard or Visa.  You will pass multiple pages that include volunteer opportunities, scholarship donations, etc.  Once you complete payment, congratulations you are all set!

LIJSL Registration:
Please visit https://liwestbabylonsc.siplay.com to register.  You may need to create a new account.  Once you have an account, please list your child as a participant and you MUST upload a photo.  This photo will be used on their player pass, so make sure it is a clear head shot.    You will pick the age division your child's team plays in and then be able to register for the specific team that your child made after a tryout.  Only register after the coach instructs you to do so.  Once you complete payment, congratulations you are all set!

NEW RULES FOR HEADING THE BALL - EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY (SPRING 2016)

Players in Under-11 programs and younger shall not engage in heading, either in practices or in games. Referees have been instructed by US Soccer of the following rule addition in these age groups:

  • When a player deliberately heads the ball in a game, an indirect kick shall be awarded to the opposing team from the spot of the offense. If the deliberate header occurs within the goal area, the indirect free kick should be taken on the goal area line parallel to the goal at the point nearest to where the infringement occurred. If a player does not deliberately head the ball, then play should continue. 

  • Limited heading in practice for players Under-12 and Under 13 programs. More specifically, these players shall be limited to a maximum of 30 minutes of heading training per week, with no more than 15-20 headers per player, per week. 

  • Clubs should be aware of circumstances in which individual consideration is needed. For example:

           - A 10 year-old playing at Under-12 should not head the ball at all
           - An 11 or 12 year-old playing at Under 14 should abide by the heading restrictions in practice 

  • Referees should enforce these restrictions by age group according to the specified rules. Referees will not be assessing the age of individual players on the field; they will enforce the rules for the age group. 

  • Leagues and organizations are free to set their own standards, as long as the minimum requirements outlined above are met.
