Once you complete this quick step, you will receive a confirmation text stating "You have successfully added to your subscription." We will notify you in the future of game cancellations and any major club announcements. This is a great way to be the first to know of anything going on! Please take advantage of this new feature.
The South Shore Soccer Club offers professionally trained intramural programs for the U3-U8 age groups. We offer professional training sessions twice per week and games are played on Saturdays. Please refer to the age chart below for which age group your child will fall into beginning with the Fall 2016 season.
Highlights of Each Age Division
*Uniforms will be included in the registration cost. We will ask your child's size during the registration process. Uniform kit consists of a jersey, shorts, and socks. Shin guards and cleats must be purchased separately from any sporting goods store.
U5/U6- Coed Division
- Training and Games are played at the same time each Saturday (Currently offered 10am-11:00am)
- We provide professional trainers for the first half hour
- After training, play a 30 minute game (two 15 minute halves)
- Games are played at 3v3, or 4v4 if both coaches agree (we encourage this)
- Coaches are on the playing field providing instruction to players
- No goalies in this age group as we play with small nets
- The goal is to be introduced to the game, learn the basic fundamental skills, and have fun!
U7/U8- Currently offered as a Coed Division, but has been offered as separate boys and girls divisions in the past
- Slightly bigger field than U5/U6
- Coaches provide instruction from sideline
- Introduction of goalies
- Games are still played on Saturdays, however the time varies week to week
- Practices/Training are run twice per week by professional trainers
- We provide professional training 2x per week
- Games are played 6v6 (5 field players plus a goalie)
- The goal is to build upon previously learned skills, acquire new skills, prepare players for the next level, and have fun!
HOW TO REGISTERIf you did not play this past year:- Create an account by clicking "Register" on the top right hand corner of the website
- Follow on screen instructions to create an account
- List your child(ren) information and list them as participants. You MUST upload their birth certificate and we prefer that you also upload their photo
- Once this is done and you are on your account homepage, you will see a "programs available" button to the right of their name. Click this button. Since they are intramural age, you should only see that one program is available (the appropriate age group--the system will block you from other age groups). Once your child reaches travel age, multiple programs may be available.
- Follow on screen instructions to complete registration and payment. We accept Mastercard or Visa. You will pass multiple pages that include teammate and coach requests, volunteer opportunities, scholarship donations, etc.
If you played last year:- Login to your existing account by clicking "Login" on the top right hand corner of the website
- Please upload a picture for your child(ren) if you have not done so already
- Once this is done and you are on your account homepage, you will see a "programs available" button to the right of their name. Click this button. Since they are intramural age, you should only see that one program is available (the appropriate age group--the system will block you from other age groups). Once your child reaches travel age, multiple programs may be available.
